Reconnecting Younger Homeless Youth and their Families in LA

This presentation shows the components of STRIVE (Support to Reunite, Involve and Value Each Other), a five-session family intervention program. The randomized controlled trial with 300 re-entry youth led to the formulation of five elements of program success: intervening early, promoting a family-centered approach, ensuring reentry navigation, having a therapeutic alliance and embedding within the system of care.
