Point Source Youth
is a national nonprofit dedicated to ending youth homelessness in 50 cities and towns in 10 years. We help advocate for, implement, and evaluate proven, scalable, and replicable youth homelessness interventions to increase housing options for youth.
OUR RESEARCH-BACKED, YOUTH-CENTERED INTERVENTIONS
Short-term host homes provide youth with an affirming, safe space to stay for 1-6 months with a well screened and well matched mentor in their community.
Rapid rehousing provides youth with a lease in their own name in the housing of their choice. Youth receive a tailored rent subsidy for up to two years along with comprehensive case management.
Family & kinship strengthening uses mediation, counseling, and case management to support youth interested in exploring connections with their families - chosen, adopted, biological, and more.
Point Source Youth is working with lead researchers to build an extensive body of longitudinal research designed to evaluate interventions we support to ensure that youth are best served by their communities.
