Dajonee Hale

Manager, Youth Leadership

DaJonee Hale (she/her) is a proud Indigenous woman and loves representing Alaskans. She is dedicated to ending youth homelessness and creating equity and quality opportunities, especially for younger generations of indigenous communities to thrive. After securing her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and finishing three spectacular seasons of Professional Women’s Basketball in Germany, DaJonee spent three years co-founding Mat-Su Youth Action Board while working to improve her local youth homelessness response system as the Youth Support Specialist with the Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness. She’s excited to bring her experience and knowledge on a national scale and work with other rural communities to transform systems that lack equity and inclusion of marginalized communities to improve their lives and support a self-sustainable path forward.
