Slaynne De La Cruz

Director, Technical Assistance

 

Slaynne (she/her) is passionate about ending youth homelessness and leads with the belief that we can in fact end youth homelessness by ensuring that young people have the totality of the resources they need to live full lives. Slaynne is driven to end systematic oppression and systems that perpetuate trauma within the youth homelessness field. She served as the Assistant Director for Jericho Project’s Youth Rapid Re-Housing program where she served over 150 homeless LGBTQ young adults over 7 years. Slaynne has deep experience with the Child Welfare System where she led programs that served youth and has experience with successful family reunification programs. Slaynne holds a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College.
