Fi Pili Jayei

Manager, Partnerships

Fi Pili Jayei was born, raised, and is currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A creative, sex worker, social justice advocate, and community organizer; Fi Pili’s work towards liberation in this country is focused on institutionally forgotten youth, queer and trans black and brown people, and sex-workers and strippers. A mass majority of Fi Pili’s experience comes from their life experiences. Due to lack of resources, money, and living with housing instability a college education was not an option for them. After committing to dropping out and finding alternative means of education and experience (both personal and professional), Fi Pili began working within their immediate community, redistributing resources and money to those in need and working for a variety of institutionally forgotten youth centered nonprofits in the Philadelphia community. Finally during COVID, Fi Pili dedicated more time to attending and organizing demonstrations and strikes, PPE distribution, and getting money directly into the hands of black and brown youth, strippers, and sex-workers.
