Macy Verges

Director, Digital Storytelling and Communications

 

Macy (she/her) conceptualizes and executes digital strategies to identify communities where we need to build relationships and connect people across the country to the movement to end youth homelessness.  In addition to overseeing PSY's digital outreach and advocacy initiatives, Macy runs our social platforms Prior to joining PSY, Macy taught indoor farming and nutrition to middle school students in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and worked as an intern on a transmedia project that investigates the history and present state of juvenile justice and social services for girls. With her lived experience in mind, Macy is deeply committed to efforts to increase accessibility to systems information so youth can obtain the housing, healthcare, and education they need to thrive. Macy holds a BA in Human Rights and Anthropology from Bard College.
