Dr. Henry O. Love

Director of Development and Growth

Dr. Henry O. Love is Director of Development and Growth at Point Source Youth, where he works to expand evidence-based solutions to prevent and end youth homelessness, including direct cash transfers and targeted housing interventions.

Born and raised in Detroit, his work is shaped by firsthand experience navigating inequity and a commitment to advancing community-driven, anti-poverty solutions. He has designed and launched direct cash transfer initiatives in New York City and supported their expansion across communities nationwide.

Prior to PSY, Dr. Love led policy, research, and program design at Women In Need (Win), the nation’s largest provider of shelter for families experiencing homelessness, where he helped implement and scale evidence-based interventions across the U.S. He has also advised leaders at the federal, state, and local levels on strategies to address affordable housing and homelessness.

An inaugural Obama Leaders USA Fellow, Dr. Love holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the CUNY Graduate Center and an M.A. in Education Policy from Columbia University. Outside of his professional work, he is an endurance runner who trains for and competes in marathons, often alongside his Doberman, Nina Simone.
